Ca 'Tullio, a story that begins in 1928
The history of our cellar dates back to 1928, when at the time, the entire building was used for drying tobacco.
Following an important renovation and skilfully reusing traditional materials such as wood and bricks, combined with an exposed burnished steel structure, the building has now become the headquarters of Ca 'Tullio , At Aquileia , one of the rare examples of industrial archeology of Friuli Venezia Giulia .
It is here that we produce our wines, working with passion and care our vineyards that extend between the land of Aquileia and the Sdricca di Manzano, a town bathed by the Natisone.
Native grapes from the Friuli Aquileia and Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Territories
Our vineyards extend between the terroirs of the DOC Friuli Aquileia and DOC Friuli Colli Orientali areas. A territory with a unique microclimate and favorable for its geographical position: the Julian Alps behind, shelter the vines from the cold currents of the north and the Adriatic Sea in front, considerably softens the temperatures, which reach below zero only in some short periods of the year.
And it is within this land that we cultivate our native grapes in a unique territory rich in history with the intention of making the most of the characteristics of each of our wines .
